Landscaping to SELL

       Your Home is Calling

.....THINK ABOUT INCORPORATING HARDSCAPING elements

      1.  Stone, Rocks, colored Sand in pathways / gardens

      2.  Line the Driveway / Front walkway

     3.  Replacing small patio stones with larger [16"x 16"
                              or 24" x 24" ] patio slabs
for a less cluttered & modernized look

.....Consider utilizing concrete / concrete look Benches for fun seating

     1.  Check out your local Home / Yard store:
                             for ideas & porducts

     2.  Surround them with small pebbles, stones,
                               or natural bark fill.

.....Using COLOR is a great way to change the look of your outside area

      1.  Choose the color carefully--pink sand sounds neat,
BUT a little of the color can go a long way.

      2.  Black & White are still the colors of choice,
            base these on House Style--Formal
or for grey, white bricked /siding

     3.   Brown, Reds, Beiges, Blues [carefully] are great
for the Mediteranian, Spanish, Italian style
& Modern shades of Brown bricks or siding

As seen in the Detroit News Homefinder section of Friday, March 13, 2009 article:

In this competitive housing market, every feature of a Home
is crucial in attracting potential buyers.
The exterior makes the FIRST impression,
and HARDSCAPES, as important elements of landscaping,
play a critical role in gaining a return on value.
Along with helping a property stand out in Buyers' minds,
a carefully thought-out landscape using hardscapes allows homeowners
to express their creativity and personality.

.....Adding a water feature to your landscaping can attract second looks

      1.  These can be added in an island garden or
along the front yard [ side if on a corner lot]

      2.  You will need to have an electrician put in proper outside plugs

      3.  Spotlighting fountains, water elements at night
can add a wonderful Look for your Home

      4.  Stay away from "Cute characters, shapes" when picking out
the water feature for the Home

      5.  Supply the needed products to 'keep them clean' for
the New Homeowner [& use them until sold]
