Jan 17,2009----the Snow cometh...Again
A bright, frigid, windy & snowy hello to all out there in Blog point2 Land.
This time the 'weather guys' were right on the mark.
They predicted and ti happened......gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "prophecy fulfilled.".
If you believe the records that are quoted...we now officially have as much as, if not more snow NOW than
the total seasonal fall in 2008. Great! Just what you want to hear in January -the second month of Winter.
Along those lines--of records--Friday one local TV weatherman enlightened us with the information that:
it was officially -15* in Hell (Michigan) and it was only -4* in our part of Macomb MI. ;SO O O....
we were 'hotter than Hell'.
Don't know what to do with that information, but it made us laugh. AND.......another phrase, as in ....."it will be a cold day in Hell before........" Bites the dust or is it Bites the snow ???
Those of you up in Canada & areas North of Canada too, understand frigid, cold-d-d-d-, & ice or / & snow;
I do NOT consider the Southern area cold when it is 50*--60*..That is our Spring & Fall nice days.
So, enough already about Snow totals. They only tend to get bigger...
News Flash--we are slatted for a warm up next Monday - Wednesday: it will be a balmy 25*- 30* during that time. Never did I think that 25 or 30* would sound warm. Go Figure!
Well, thank goodness for the Net, we can do a lot of business on line that before meant meetings in places other than one's own home.
